Deep tissue massage: A form of massage which focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints) to relieve tension and motion.

A deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. Pressure is applied across the grain of a muscle to release adhesions and realign tissue fibres. It aims to improve alignment, reduce levels of resting tension, and create more efficient postural and movement patterns.

Sometimes the body may feel a bit broken. We’ve got a great solution for you: Deep Tissue Therapy use tension-releasing techniques to get you back to feeling fantastic.

Beneficial for:

  • Musculoskeletal pain
