Deep tissue therapy focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints) to relieve tension and motion.

Sometimes the body may feel a bit broken. We’ve got a great solution for you: Deep Tissue Therapy use tension-releasing techniques to get you back to feeling fantastic.

Benefits Clients With:

  • Musculoskeletal pain
  • Postural pain
  • Postural imbalance
  • Headaches and Migraines
  • Restricted movement
  • Muscle Spasms
  • Back Pain
  • Arthritis
  • Chronic pain
  • Sporting Injuries

A deep tissue massage involves involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. Pressure is applied across the grain of a muscle to release adhesions and realign tissue fibres.

Our massage therapists may use fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows, and forearms during a deep tissue massage. It aims to improve alignment, reduce levels of resting tension, and create more efficient postural and movement patterns.

This treatment is great to release tension and work on knots, with less pain than a regular sports massage. It will induce a state of relaxation as this therapy works deep into the tissues which will feel great. You may feel slightly sore the day after but following that we can assure you that you’ll feel free of tension and at ease.

How do I know that I need to see a deep tissue therapist?

If you are in pain, if you are struggling to sit properly at work or even if you are trying to improve your sport, our deep tissue therapists will help you reach your goal by identifying and targeting your weakness in order to make it your strength.
