What:
Myo: Muscle / Fascia: The connective tissue around the body / Release: To let go, ease the pressure

Benefits Clients With:
- Chronic pain
- Old muscle injuries
- Postural pain
- Postural imbalance
- Stress
- Headaches & Migraines
- Fatigue
How:
Myofascial works to relieve the connective tissue around the body. Slowly and gently it works to ‘melt’ and release tension in the tissue. Myofascial release takes the pressure off pain-sensitive areas such as nerves and blood vessels to restore mobility to the muscles.
The fascia (connective tissue) is a cling-film like substance that wraps around the body to support and reduce friction. The aim is to stretch and smooth the body so it works at the optimum level. Pressure and heat from the therapist’s hand help the fascia to release, gradually releasing restrictions on the muscles which makes pain starts to disappear.
